Acceptable Use Policy and Terms for IGNOU Help Books

IGNOU Prep, founded in 2013 by KS Tomar (an ex-IGNOU student), is dedicated to supporting IGNOU students worldwide. While not an official IGNOU site, Ignouprep.com is trusted by millions. This document outlines our Acceptable Use Policy and specific terms for our IGNOU Help Books.

Acceptable Use Policy

1. Ignouprep.com is not responsible for any deletion, storage failure, transmission inaccuracies, or other communication issues.
2. Users must provide accurate information and notify us immediately of any security breaches or unauthorized account use. Interfering with other users or reselling/commercially using the Ignouprep.com Service without written consent is prohibited.
3. By registering and logging in, you agree to these terms.
4. All materials (pre-written or custom) are for research and exemplary purposes only. We strongly discourage plagiarism and encourage responsible use. Submitting our materials as your own is solely your responsibility.

Terms for IGNOU Help Books

1. Cash on Delivery (COD) is available only within India. International orders can be placed directly on Ignouprep.com.
2. These books are help books, reference books, or guides based on the IGNOU or other Indian university syllabi. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please consult the official university/board/institute textbooks and study materials. COD means payment upon delivery to the courier/postman. Delivery typically takes 2-10 days.
3. Please read and accept these terms before placing a COD order.
4. Book availability is subject to stock. While we strive for accuracy, stock depletion may occur. In such cases, we will provide a copy as soon as it becomes available or offer a refund.
5. Delivery typically takes 2-10 business days after order confirmation.
6. Ignou Prep is not responsible for delays caused by postal/courier services.
7. Shipping, handling, and packaging charges are added to the book price.
8. Books are shipped at the customer’s risk.
9. Book supply is subject to stock and publication. Please check availability before ordering.
10. Books are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
11. Customers are responsible for all expenses if packages are refused or unclaimed.
12. Complaints must be filed within 2 days of receipt. Our liability for any book/order dispute is limited to the purchase price.
13. If a wrong or defective book is sent, we will exchange it free of charge or issue a refund via PayTM upon return of the item. Please email return details.
14. Online sale, resale, or display (cover or inner pages) of “Ignou Prep Guess Paper/IGNOU Prep Assignment” and any book published by Ignouprep.com on any website or online marketplace is strictly prohibited without prior written permission. This constitutes copyright and trademark infringement and will result in legal action.

General Terms

• Complete order forms are required.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Orders cannot be altered or canceled after processing.
• Ignouprep.com reserves the right to accept/reject orders.
• All matters and disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms and your use of the service are governed by Indian law. Disputes should be addressed informally with us first. EU consumers have the benefit of mandatory legal provisions in their country of residence. You represent you are not subject to any Indian government embargo or on any restricted party list.

Copyright & Usage

You may print or download extracts for personal, non-commercial use only. Creating a database by systematically downloading content is prohibited. No part of the site may be reproduced or transmitted without prior written permission. Requests should be sent to AskIGNOU@ignouprep.com.

Marketing & Advertising

With your consent, we may send promotional emails. We are not responsible for the content of such emails or third-party goods/services. Advertisers are responsible for the legality of their material. We are not liable for any advertising inaccuracies and reserve the right to remove or modify any advertising. Sponsored advertising does not constitute an endorsement.

Registration

Registration is required for certain services. You must provide accurate information. Your username and password are for your personal use only and should not be shared. Sharing access or caching our site on proxy servers is prohibited. We reserve the right to cancel memberships and block IP addresses for violations. We are not liable for any access interruptions.

Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Ignouprep.com makes no warranties regarding the suitability, reliability, availability, timeliness, or accuracy of the information, software, products, or services. The service is provided “as is” without any warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service or INR 100 if no purchase was made.

Modifications & Termination

We may modify these terms at any time with reasonable notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance. We may terminate access at any time for any reason. Violations may result in legal action.
